City Strides in Direction of Making Austin More Pedestrian Friendly

The South Austin Senior Activity Center is located on busy Manchaca Road and serves a variety of Austin residents aged 50-plus, some of whom rely on their feet as their main form of transportation. Last week, a new pedestrian crosswalk signal was dedicated at the center after a group of Austin residents petitioned the City.
